Sophia Jawad is an Iraqi actress and model based in the United Arab Emirates.

Jawad has played in over twenty student productions as the New York Film Academy, and in 2009 she portrayed the character Gertrude in the Shakespeare play Hamlet.[1] She has also participated in an Iraqi theatre project in 2006 entitled "For Iraq" whereby she played the main role.[1]
She attended the Abu Dhabi Film Festival for the movie, "Sun Dress".[2]
Along with acting, Jawad is listed with numerous modelling agencies in the Emirates and has modelled on a Syrian hair style cat walk in 2007, as well as appearing in a jewellery advertisement aired by Abu Dhabi TV and appearing in a music video for famous Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi.[1]
She is fluent in English, Arabic and Korean.[1]
